Just moved from a zra2 to a tr3, and went titanium on everything (footplate, backrest tubes, camber tube) and carbon fiber on the rest (seat pan, side guards, backrest) with 25" lx wheels and new marathon tires. So the chair is substantially lighter. However, when I go to transfer out and push off the front frame tube the chair slides the other way, which is a big problem obviously. The rear wheels are locked with D's, so they don't rotate at all. The chair just literally slides to the side fairly easily. Doesn't matter if its carpet, tile, concrete. Has anyone else had this issue?
Lighter chair less stable during transfers??
