More surgery?

I previously had an mri due to increased pain. I had my c5 c6 fused in September 2014.. Im scared that my only options are surgery again... Opinions. Im going back to my neurosurgeon but not until may

MRI OF CERVICAL SPINE

HISTORY : Increasing neck pain and increasing right upper extremity pain and numbness.
Suspected radiculopathy. History of anterior fusion.

TECHNIQUE: Routine departmental protocol. Comparison with preoperative MRI on 4/8/14.

FINDINGS:

Foramen magnum: Within normal limits.

C2-3: Within normal limits.

C3-4: Relatively small, broad based left posterolateral disc herniation/osteophyte complex,
new since the previous exam. Associated mild left lateral recess and left C4 foraminal
stenosis. No compromise of the central spinal canal or right C4 foramen.

C4-5: Mild disc bulging without compromise of the canal or foramina.

C5-6: No evidence of complications post anterior fusion. No compromise of the canal or
foramina.

C6-7: Moderate broad-based left posterior and right posterolateral disc herniation/osteophyte
complex. Associated mild right lateral recess stenosis and severe right C7 foraminal stenosis.
Moderate to severe left lateral recess stenosis with mild displacement and minimal compression
of the cord. Borderline central spinal stenosis. These findings are new since 4/8/14.

C7-T1: Within normal limits.

Upper thoracic spine: No significant findings on sagittal images at the T1-2 and T2-3 levels.

Cervical cord: Within normal limits.
Impression
IMPRESSION: New left posterior/right posterolateral disc herniation/osteophyte complex at C6-7.
Satisfactory postoperative appearance of the C5-6 level. Additional findings described above.
