I had my thyroid removed in 2002 pre SCI and had no trouble keeping my TSH levels regulated with a low dose synthroid. Ever since my SCI I can't get my thyroid to regulate. Constantly changing my synthroid dose and it will be fine for a few months then wham its off again. Can SCI affect thyroid levels? Or could it possibly be additional medications that I am on now? None of my doctors, endocrn or neuro has ever attributed it to the SCI.
Thyroid???
