New Van Purchase - Advice Needed

Anybody have experience buying a van straight from a dealer then sending away for conversion? Is it a better deal then buying through a dealer like RideAway or MobilityWorks?

Also, any thoughts on Dodge vs Toyota? I've had a Dodge for 11 years now abnd prety happy overall. know I want side entry, Braun fold out.
